Effective date: 14 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data SLIMSHOT LTD ("we", "our", "us") collects through our website and our apps, why, how long we keep it, and your rights. It covers:
SLIMSHOT LTD is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are a company registered in England and Wales (number 17157324), registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZC217932. Contact: info@slimshotgames.com.
We do not sell your personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and none of our apps contain analytics, tracking or crash-reporting tools.
Your darts name, settings, statistics and game progress are stored only on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
When you create or join an online game, the app sends the following to our game server so the match can be played:
We do not collect your email address, contacts, location, photos, advertising identifier or any other device identifier. Because a join code lets your friend into the game, only share it with people you want to play.
Why we use it (legal basis): to provide the online game you asked to play (performance of a contract), and to keep the service secure and working (our legitimate interests).
Where it is stored: on Amazon Web Services servers in London, United Kingdom.
How long we keep it:
Deleting your data: removing a game from "My Games" removes it from your list. To delete everything we hold for your player ID, email info@slimshotgames.com with your player ID. You can copy it by tapping the version number at the bottom of the QuickDarts main menu. Deleting the app removes all data stored on your device.
Apple and Google provide our apps through their stores and handle downloads and purchases under their own privacy policies. If you choose to share diagnostics with app developers in your device settings, they may give us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics.
We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers. We use Amazon Web Services to host our website and game server, which processes data only on our instructions. We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or SLIMSHOT LTD.
QuickDarts online game data is stored in the United Kingdom. Our service providers (such as AWS, Apple and Google) may process data in other countries; where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
All data sent between our apps, website and servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to our servers is restricted. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you, and the regulator where required, if a breach affects you.
Our apps and website are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has used QuickDarts online play, contact us and we will delete the related data.
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy of it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use these rights, email info@slimshotgames.com. For QuickDarts, please include your player ID so we can find your data. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the effective date at the top before the change takes effect.
